Marcelo chose to release a song for the first time on his birthday in october 2019. It is called “A Light in the Darkness“: A social radiography of the people living in this world. They look for money and status. There is an absense of love in the true sense.
Marcelo is a tight drummer, plays piano, bass, percussion, keyboards.
About the Song
A Light in the Darkness started in october 2018 at Marcelo’s brother-in-music’s home, Marcus Lipp in München, Bavaria (Ja! Gute bier!), Deutschland, after breakfast. Marcus grabbed his beautiful guitar and threw some chords. Then Marcelo started singing melodies on it, making some changes and giving it life. Then Marcelo visited other cities in Germany and sang/arranged the song in his head while walking through beautiful forests and streets in Daun, Eifel. Marcelo wrote the words and produced/arranged the song back in Chile.
Recording
By when Marcelo produced the song, Marcus had plans to visit Chile so he would play the acoustic guitars for the song. The recording sessions took place in Marcelo’s own studio in Santiago de Chile in January 2019. Marcelo has the credit of being the Producer, Recording and Mixer Engineer as well. He played all the instruments excepting the Intro/Verses/Outro acoustic guitars by Marcus. The song was mastered by Nick Hefper in Frankfurt, Germany. Nick is part of Marc Mozart team.
